While the rows of baguette-cut diamonds emphasise the timepiece’s Art Deco style, the sidepiece is veiled with enchanting brilliance in which the diamonds nestle against each other using the snow-setting technique.

The trompe-l’oeil effect is based on a subtlety usually reserved for Jaeger-LeCoultre openworked clocks: attached to an invisible crystal, the mechanism floats in the heart of the case without even being connected to its crown. The latter actually slides out of the case and is used as a winder. Simply insert it in the winding housing on the back of the movement to set the time on the watch.
